Rangsit Journal of Educational Studies Volume 4 Number 2

Note from Editors of RJES Volume 4 Number 2

Dear RJES Readers,

This RJES Volume 4 No. 2 includes 8 research reports, which mostly are classroom-based research done by M.A. and Doctoral students and my professional reflections. I truly appreciate their efforts in presenting their views of Thai education—what is happening in the Thai classroom as well as what techniques work? Of course, in each study, we see a little bit of something that we can make use of in our teaching. Therefore, I would like our readers to take a look at the techniques or the education models proposed and implement them to find out whether they need to be improved further.
As for the professional reflections, the situations surrounding us point out the changing roles of students and teachers. However, we still find many advocates of the old school hanging onto teaching the same old way but when looking at our students’ perspectives, we find some signals for change. Indeed, for me, it is very useful for education reform of the 21st century when learning is supposed to be the responsibility of the students and teaching does not equal learning.
Enjoy reading. Wish you a Joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year!
