Rangsit Journal of Educational Studies Volume 3 Number 1

Note from Editors of RJES Volume 3 Number 1

Dear RJES Readers,

You are now with our fifth issue of Rangsit Journal of Educational Studies (RJES).  This issue contains six articles in the areas of instruction, language skills development and a current issue on parents' choice of entertainment media for their children.

In this issue, two authors deal with rhetorical structure in academic writing (Article 1) and texting in the cyber world (Article 5). Two articles are from Indonesian educators; both focus on current educational issues on Project-Based Learning (Article 2), and the implementation of the SchoolBased Curriculum in Indonesia (Article 3), respectively. The other two articles report instructional practices in the use of corrective feedback for Thai ESL students at the university level (Article 4), and the use of Disney movies as an English learning tool selected by parents for their children (Article 6).

The volume editors expect that all these current instructional and educational topics should deserve interest and attention from our RJES readers. We do hope that we can hear some feedback from our readers as well as receive papers from contributors who wish to be part of our RJES network.
