Note from the Chief Editors

Dear RJES readers,

We are pleased to bring to you the fourth issue of Rangsit Journal of Educational Studies (RJES). This issue contains research articles in the areas of instruction, educational technology, and logistics in higher education. These papers demonstrate the authors’ contributions and initiatives on the development of analytical skills in mathematics with the use of collaborative learning and case-based learning, and the development of the electronic book in science subject, followed by a paper on a current issue in educational logistics.

We have two papers from Indonesia and the Philippines: one on the scientific approach to EFL classroom based on the reformed Curriculum 2013 in Indonesia; and the other on the challenges of the integration of Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) in the Teacher Education Program at Bicol University, the Philippines.

The volume editors hope that our readers would find the research findings reported in this volume a source for their inspiration in applying ICT to their teaching and other pertinent educational practices.
